The stream is online from Friday afternoon until Monday morning (CET).
A History
Rust Radio started somewhere in the last months of 2002. For a few times, it ran on a machine at the university. In the beginning it played Neil's albums, but I quickly changed the playlist to play only live Neil Young music. Unfortunately, I don't have the log files from that period anymore, they are lost forever.
When the university decided to install a firewall and close off many ports, including the one Rust Radio was using (8000), I needed to find a replacement server. A friend of mine (thanks, Joost V!) asked around and came up with a generous offer from one of his friends (thanks Bram!) who offered me a place on his server. Both the Rust Radio website and the audio stream have been running on that server ever since. Ever since I moved to the new server, I have kept all the log files of the radio stream. Here is a summary of those logs. Enjoy!
Statistics
Here are the stats, follow the links to statistics for that particular weekend or period. Most dates are those of the day I stopped the stream again, often that is on the monday after a Rust Radio weekend.
